Marcella A. Hodkiewicz, 92, Green Bay, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012. She was born October 14, 1919 in Pulaski, WI to the late Dominic and Anna (Polczynski) Hodkiewicz. Marcella was a devout Catholic and member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Green Bay, where she was active in the Ladies Club. She was a graduate of Pulaski High School and attended Green Bay Vocational School. Marcella enjoyed playing bridge, sheephead, travelling, and was a member of the Zonta Club. She retired from Internal Revenue Service after 34 years. Marcella especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include 3 brothers: Leonard (Evelyn) Hodkiewicz, Ludwig "Ben" Hodkiewicz; and John (Pat) Hodkiewicz; 3 sisters: Adeline Berg; Florence (Jim) Mulloy; and Grace (Robert) Kanugh; sisters-in-law, Monica Hodkiewicz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Marcella was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Norbert (Agnes) Hodkiewicz, Norman Hodkiewicz, and Dominic (Julianne) Hodkiewicz; sister, Genevieve Hodkiewicz; brother-in-law, Loyal Berg; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hodkiewicz; and nephews, Jimmy Hodkiewicz and Murray Hodkiewicz.
Family and friends may call Thursday, April 26, 2012, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9th Street, Green Bay, from 10:30am until 11:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Thursday at 11:30a.m., with Rev. Dane Radecki O.Praem. officiating. Burial will be in Assumption BVM Cemetery, Pulaski.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be made out to St. Agnes Catholic Church in Marcella's name.
