Marcella Marion (Smith) Forslund, 85, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012.
She was born on March 10, 1927, in Menominee, MI, to the late Charles and Margaret Smith.
Marcella married Oscar Forslund on November 23, 1946, in Marinette, WI, he precedes her in death.
She was a very talented seamstress and she never hesitated sewing for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing and music, especially polka and country music. Marcella loved gardening and also shopping, but most of all she cherished spending times with her grandkids and great grandchildren.
Survivors include, five children, Shirley (Earl Sr.) Habeck, Sandra (Jerry) Forslund, Sharon (Michael) Delvoye, Steven Forslund, and Scott (Eva) Forslund; nine grandchildren, Earl Jr. (Amy), Susan (Joseph), Summer (Brett), Yvette (Wade), Andrew, Stephanie (Bob), Shaun (Danielle), Alecia (Shaun), and Alexander; 13 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Ronald Smith and Richard Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a granddaughter, Lee Ann Habeck.
Friends and family may call from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Fort Howard Mausoleum.
Marcella's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Bellin Hospital especially Dr. Jennifer Foster.
