It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, Lynn Marie Doran, 68, on February 26, 2021. Lynn was born in Green Bay, December 1, 1952 to Naomi (Doran) Schmitz and Roy F. Doran.
Lynn attended West High School and later earned a B.S. in nursing and a Masters in Business (UW-GB), and a Ed.D (University of Phoenix). She was a free spirit and well-studied in anything she was passionate about. Lynn was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed genealogy, and was in the process of writing her first book until her disease prevented her from finishing it.
Lynn is survived by her ex-husband, Don Cunningham, (Boynton Beach, FL); their daughter, Tanja Cunningham (Green Bay); five grandchildren she adored: Cole, (Boynton Beach, FL), David, Luke, Naomi (Mimi) and Kurtis, all of Green Bay; four sisters: Cheryl Brouette (Palm Harbor, FL), Julie May (Green Bay), Karen Hansen (Milwaukee and Clearwater, FL), Kristi Dobbin (Clearwater, FL), and one brother, David Doran (Green Bay). She is further survived by three brothers-in-law: Todd Brouette, Jack May, Jeff Hansen and one sister-in-law, Kelly Doran.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all at Unity Hospice for the tender care they provided our sister and a very special thank you to our sister-in-law, Kelly Doran. We will be forever grateful to you for being by our sister's side with your soothing words, grace and loving kindness.
Lynn had a deep trust and faith in the Moravian Church and will be buried at the Moravian Cemetery in Green Bay alongside our mother, grandparents, and great-grandparents who were founding members.
A private funeral is being planned.
