Lucille Wery, 87, Green Bay, went to be with her Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday evening Oct 24, 2013, while under the care of the McCormick Memorial Home and Unity Hospice. Lucille was born to the late Ben and Lena (Delfosse) Lardinois in Brussels, WI, on June 24, 1926. She married her sweetheart Donald Wery at St. Francis Church on Sept. 30, 1947. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Parish for many years. Lucille was a hard working lady who could always find time to bake special treats for her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Lucille was a master Bingo player while at the McCormick home, where she loved her time there with the staff and her friends.
Lucille is survived by her three sons and daughters-in law Lyle and Emily Wery of Green Bay and their children Denise, Heather, Eric (Katie)Wery; Dale And Gail Wery of Townsend and their children Kristy (Chad) Draheim and Heidi Wery; Randy Wery of Green Bay and his children, April Wery, Nick Batten, Dan Wery;. and 14 Great Grand Children; her sisters Darlene and Vincent Kinnard of New Frankin; Maxine and John Stegmann of Maplewood, Laverne Lardinois of Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving Husband; three brothers and one sister: six brothers-in-law and five sister-in-laws.
Friends may call from 10:00am until 11:30am on Monday, October 28, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Allen Geiser officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
The family would like to personally say thank you the staff of the McCormick home and Unity Hospice for their outstanding care and loving support to make mom as happy and at peace as she deserved to be.
