Luanne Joy (Reno) Konsela born March 5, 1957 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Leonard Reno and Lorraine Ouradnik went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 14, 2021 after having COVID/Pneumonia complications.
She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976 and after working at the Manitowoc Police Department for 7 years, she kept the household running smoothly and took care of her husband, Brian and her daughter, Heidi who was her pride and joy and who she was most proud of. Luanne, also known as "Pickle," was a tiny but fierce woman who touched people with her sense of humor. She was a wonderful baker and cook. Everyone looked forward to having Auntie Annie's cookies at Christmas.
Luanne was an avid reader and loved working on her scrap booking, making photo albums of her daughter's worldly travels and many beautiful cards for every occasion which she sent to family and friends. She looked forward to shopping trips and "coffee clutches" with her sister Linda and her daughter. Every night, she would make a bowl of popcorn and watch old Westerns and British murder mysteries (her favorites being Sherlock Holmes and Poirot). Luanne adored animals, especially horses. Luanne's kitchen was always open for the local deer, squirrels, and birds. She was very proud of her Irish and Native American ancestry and the fact that her grandparents were in a traveling circus.
Luanne is survived by her husband Brian and her daughter Heidi.
Visitation for Luanne will be held on Saturday, January 15th, 2021 at Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church (181 Main St, Potter, WI 54160) from 10:00AM - 11:00AM. A memorial service will follow at 11:00AM.
