Lorraine Ann (Alt) Buntrock, age 88, of Green Bay, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 7, 2023. Lorraine was born February 5, 1935 in Chicago, IL; daughter of the late Raymond and Alma (Newburry) Alt.
Lorraine married Richard E. Buntrock. They raised 2 sons and welcomed 4 grandchildren to the family. Richard passed away in March of 1992, leaving Lorraine to hold his memory in her heart.
Lorraine and Richard loved to go out to dinner with family and friends and dance. They took cruise trips, enjoyed camping and had many Sunday family dinners. Her family was her priority. That is just a small picture of her family commitment. During her earlier years, she worked as a model. Lorraine worked at the Ovaltine as "Captain Midnight." Children would write letters to Captain Midnight and she would write return letters to the children. Lorraine was very proud of her accomplishments.
Left to honor and cherish her memory are Lorraine's sons: Richard A. (Bonnie) Buntrock of Ashwaubenon and Michael (Christine) Buntrock of Scotland; four grandchildren: Nicole (Jason) Davies, Lisa (fiancée, Kirk) Paal, and Sean and Lauren Buntrock; great-grandchildren: Marissa, Jackson and Mallory Davies, Landon and Mason Paal, and Ella, Joey and Gracie Buntrock; three siblings: Raymond F. Alt Jr., Carol Edwards and Peggy Stern Francois. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Delbert Alt and 3 sisters: Judy Tomaszewski, Diana Edwards and Patricia Dorn.
Family will receive guests at Nativity of Our Lord Parish Family, 2270 S. Oneida St., Green Bay, Friday, April 21, 2023 from 9:00am to 11:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with Fr. Mathew Simonar, celebrant. Private entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
