Lorna M. Jaeger, age 97, of Green Bay, formerly of Luxemburg, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 6, 2024, with her son and daughter-in law at her side. She was born in Luxemburg, WI, January 9, 1927, daughter of the late Gustav and Ada (Hedtke) Miesler.
Lorna was a graduate of Luxemburg High School, Class of 1945. She married LeRoy Jaeger, September 10, 1949 at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. They shared 67 loving years of marriage before LeRoy passed away, February 12, 2017. Lorna was proud of her position as Office Manager for the Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union Local #298.
Lorna and LeRoy were active volunteers at the Weidner Center, the Meyer Theatre and St. Norbert Music Theatre. They were also avid Green Bay Packer fans. After retiring from the Union, Lorna worked for many years in the Fan Assistance office at Lambeau Field. Her passion was her tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, especially her raspberries.
Lorna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Teri Jaeger and brothers and sisters-in-law, Alfred, Arlan (Cathy) and Mary Jaeger.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Warren (Mildred) Miesler and Ardis (Frederick "Pete") Hanamann, a brother-in-law, Winton Jaeger and sister-in-law, Phyllis Jaeger.
Private services were held by Lorna's family.
Lorna's family would like to thank Bellin Hospital, the nurses and CNA's on One South, and the Unity Hospice facility for their exceptional care and kindness.
