Lois Janette (Schauer) Meert, 95, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020.
Lois was born March 31st, 1925 in Green Bay to the late Anna (Stingle) and Elmer Schauer. On November 22nd, 1947 Lois wed Edwin Meert and they spent nearly 70 years together.
Lois was a long time employee of the Green Bay School System and an award winning Avon sales woman. She also enjoyed bingo, bowling, baking, creating art, haggling at rummage sales, and being with friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Lois is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Edwin, her sister Dorothy Brahan, and her sister-in-law Arlene Schauer.
She is survived by her son, Frank Meert, and her five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Patrick) Havican, Anna Meert, John (Adriana) Meert, Emily Meert, and Benjamin Meert. She also leaves behind her sister Rita (Bill) Muldoon, her brother Jim Schauer, and nieces and nephews.
