Lifelong Green Bay resident, Lloyd "Pete" Louis Windhauser, 95, joined his Heavenly Father Saturday, December 30, 2017.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Delia Windhauser and his brother, Joe W. Windhauser.
Pete graduated from Green Bay East High and attended St. Norbert College.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star in the Battle of the Bulge.
Pete worked and retired from the U. S. Postal Service.
He was an avid fisherman, world traveler, and loyal Packer fan.
Survivors include his nieces, Joann (George) McClure and Eileen (Doc) Wilson; nephew, Jon (Duncan) Windhauser.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, January 5, 2018, at St. Willebrord Parish, 209 S. Adams Street, Green Bay. Interment will be at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
