Linda M. Gospodarek (Jacobs Pierquet)

Linda M. Gospodarek, 66, a lifetime resident of Green Bay, passed away on June 12, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 4, 1946, to the late Donald and Mildred "Biddy" (DeBrue) Jacobs. Linda is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. She married Larry J. Pierquet September 3, 1966, and later married Phil Gospodarek October 9, 2004.

Linda loved animals and spent her free time working with horses and riding her own horse Celtic. Linda especially enjoyed her pet cats and birds.

Linda is survived by her husband, Phil Gospodarek; daughter and two sons: Lauri (Bruce) Facile, Webster, MN; Mark (Shelly) Pierquet, Armstrong Creek, WI; Paul (Christine) Pierquet, Ukraine; and their father, Larry J. Pierquet, Coleman, WI; 8 grandchildren: Quinn and Maggy Facile, Brennan, Bailey, Charlea, Chayse, Emma, and Evan Pierquet; brother, John (Connie) Jacobs, Oconto Falls, WI; brothers-in-law, Aubrey Milbach, and Don Gospodarek; sister-in-law, Cherie (Terry) Therrien; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nancy Milbach; and step-father, Delbert J. Greenwood.

Family and friends may call Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:30pm.
