Linda L. Champion, 57, of Green Bay, WI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born on February 2, 1964 to the late Edward and Caroline (Stewart) LaFave in Racine, WI.
Linda married Brian Champion on September 30th, 1995.
For over 25 years Linda dedicated her life to caring for others while working as a licensed CNA.
Linda very much adored her black cat "Kitty Kat". She loved to socialize with her friends and family. She also enjoyed the outdoors, tanning and camping. Linda really enjoyed the recent trip her and her daughter Tasha took to Las Vegas.
Linda is survived by her daughter Tasha (Quinn) Nofzinger; her husband Brian Champion; brother Ricky LaFave; sisters: Diana LaFave Ritter, Kathy Krupkowski, Margie Welsh, and Sue Gourdoux; nieces: Ashley LaFave and Kaila Campenalla; nephew Greg Erdman; great-nieces: Alliah and Sophie; great-nephews: Rylan, Geremia, Deangelo, Jordan, and her favorite Ricky; her best friend of 47 years Sue Tolliver along with her special friends and caregivers Tanya and Chandra. Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her brothers: Kenneth "Skinner" LaFave and Edward LaFave Jr..
The family would like to thank both Tanya and Chandra for all the love, care and compassion that they gave not only to Linda, but to the entire family. It is greatly appreciated.
Per Linda's wishes, funeral services will not be held. A private family gathering will be held for the immediate family.
