Leonard "Lenny" A. Boknevitz, Jr., age 73, passed away on March 14, 2017, in Green Bay, at home surrounded by family.

Born on February 19, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Leonard and Lorraine (Daniels) Boknevitz, Sr. Lenny graduated from Pius XI High School in 1962. In 1963 he married Judith Spielvogel, lived in Milwaukee and was employed as a Steamfitter, belonging to Union 601 from 1965-1972. He moved his family to Lakewood, WI in 1972 and continued his career with Unions 298 & 400 until his retirement in 1999. In 1978 Lenny moved to Green Bay and married Sandra Dessart (Baudhuin.) Lenny was a Member and Past Master of the Gillett Lodge 344 F & AM, Member of Baja Shrine Temple and Shrine Club, and Member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Green Bay. In his spare time he also enjoyed playing golf, was an avid collector, and loved to travel anyplace warm and sunny.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; along with his three sons, Wayne (Ruth) of Tampa, Florida, Daryl (Andrea) of Amberg, Wisconsin, Chris (Colleen) of Abrams, Wisconsin; one daughter, Jill (Mitch) Hendricks of DePere, Wisconsin; and their mother, Judy Biwer. He is further survived by his two step sons, Greg (Marla) Dessart of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Kevin (Melissa) Dessart of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and their mother, Sandi Boknevitz; Ann's children Sarah, Tori, and Ryan Below of Green Bay, Wisconsin; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Tom (Paula) Boknevitz and sister, Carol (Mike) Roddy.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be set up.

Lenny's Children would like to thank his wife, Ann, for taking special care of him in his last few months along with the Aurora Hospice team, and Dr. Karkera at Aurora Cancer Center.
