Leona Carlin, 97, Ashwaubenon, passed away on December 18th, at her home.
Leona, the youngest child of George and Ann (Cornelisen) was born on February 25, 1921, in DePere. She married John Carlin on November 19, 1949. He died in 1999. Leona was a busy homemaker for their 5 children.
She is survived by 3 sons, 2 daughters, and their families: Mike Carlin of Corvallis, Oregon, Helen (Kurt) Wallinger of Suamico, Joan Carlin of Corvallis, Oregon, Jim (Monica) Carlin of Ashwaubenon, and Bill Carlin of Green Bay, grandchildren Eric Wallinger (Elizabeth Hardy), Karl Wallinger, Christopher Butler (Katy Schneider), Mikaela Butler, Jeremiah (Katie)Carlin, Caleb (Abby) Carlin, and great-grandchildren Luke, Jacob, and Eli. She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 27, at Woodside Lutheran Home Chapel, 1040 Pilgrim Way, Ashwaubenon, from 1:00 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 with Father John Van Deuren officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodside Manor/Villa.
