Leo Danelski

Leo James Danelski “Uncle T” age 83, of Green Bay, Wi. He passed away on April 3rd, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He will be deeply missed by all family and friends. Leo was born in Green Bay, Wi, On June 28th, 1941, to Julie and Joseph Danelski. Leo attended Preble High School in Green Bay. Leo’s career included working as a Lumber/Construction worker at a few different places including Holda Lumber and then at Gold Bond Ice Cream. As a result, Leo often shared his ice cream treats with all to enjoy. After leaving the United States Army Leo met and married the love of his life Diane “Josephs” Danelski. On June 29th, 1974. Together they enjoyed evenings bowling. Leo also enjoyed his time tinkering in the garage, ice fishing, trap shooting, and model trains to name a few. Leo especially shared the love of helping raise many children with Diane. 

Leo is survived by his wife Diane of 50 years. His brother Hank Danelski. Many nieces and nephews including Jamie (Joshua) Jacques, Kayla (Philip) Hope, Johnny Josephs, his great niece and nephew Trenton Shiffer and Amelia Hope.He was preceded in death by his mother Julie (Tauschek) Danelski. His father Joseph Danelski. His brothers Harvey, William, Joseph and Andew Danelski. Also, his sister Mary (Theron) Frye.We want to extend a special thank you to his good friend Brent for always lending a helping hand and to the Hope family for all they did to help Leo.

Memorial Services will be held at Fort Howard Memorial Cemetery 1350 N. Military Avenue, Green Bay, Wi. on April 29th, 2025 At 1:30pm In the Chapel and a Veteran Honors and Burial after.
