Leatrice M. Shefchik

Leatrice M. Shefchik, age 81, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Allouez Parkside Village. She was born on May 19, 1940 in Casco, The daughter of the late Roy and Ethel Taborbon. Lea was united in marriage to David Shefchik on February 29, 1960 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco. Lea was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family. Lea and Dave loved to travel, Especially Arizona and Nevada, and small day trips to the casino; she loved to play blackjack.

Lea is survived by her beloved husband, Dave of 61 years; three children: Brian (Barb) Shefchik, Kathy (Al) Lindner, and Mike (Pamela) Shefchik; 6 grandchildren: Adam (Amy) Shefchik, Andrew and Katie Shefchik, Jamie (Lucas) Jones, Amanda and Kayla Shefchik; 3 great-grandchildren: Haylee and Hannah Shefchik and Kinsley Jones; one sister, Janice Grall, one brother, Charles Taborbon, and 14 brothers and sisters-in-law; further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Lea's wishes were to have private family services and her resting place will be at Nicolet Memorial Park, Green Bay.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Allouez Parkside, and Heartland Hospice, especially Jen; for all their love, comfort, and support that was given to Lea.
