Lawrence LaGassie, 61, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away on December 31, 2016.
Larry was born on June 9, 1955, in San Diego, California to the late Willliam and Betty (Rhode) LaGassie. He was a graduate of Powa High School, Powa, CA and attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Lawrence retired from Postal Service in 2011 and was a proud member of Gambler's Anonymous.
Larry was a national cribbage player, loved all sports(especially the Brewers and Packers), coin and stamp collecting, road tripping, and the outdoors.
Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Leyva Quinones; granddaughter, Heaven; grandson, Dauntae; his siblings Donald (Brenda) LaGassie, Helen (Robert) Shepherd, William (Lisa) LaGassie; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Robert Rosenthal.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (340 South Monroe Avenue, Green Bay). His Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home with inurnment to be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Robert Rosenthal and St. Mary's Hospital staff for the wonderful care they provided during his illness.
