Lawrence "Larry" Goddard, 67, of Shawano, beloved husband of Linda (Giese) Goddard, departed this life on October 21, 2016 at his home unexpectedly.
Larry was born on April 6, 1949 in Green Bay, son of the late Orville and Lura (Fifield) Goddard. He was a Mechanic by trade and loved to tinker. As a Jehovah's Witness he was active in ministry since 1981. In his spare time Larry enjoyed fishing wood carving and spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda and their daughters: Michelle (Ann Oligney) Hert, and Mandie (Nathan) Bowman. Larry also leaves his siblings: James (Cynthia) Goddard, Orville (Diane) Goddard, Barbara (John) Kananen, Paulette (Buck) Johnson, and Shirley Goddard. He also leaves 4 beloved grandchildren: Hannah, Phillip, Emily, and Kendal along with a mother-in-law, Sally Giese. Larry also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 1 PM - 2 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, N4764 Willow Lane (corner of 22 and B), Shawano. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM in the hall. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
