Laurie Ann Wilson (Peronto), age 68, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, February 8th, peacefully in her sleep at a rehabilitation center in Green Bay. She was born on April 25th, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Bonnie and Robert Peronto.
Laurie was a loving grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren above all else. Their laughter and joy brought her an immeasurable amount of happiness. She found great joy and fulfillment volunteering at The Veterans Hospital. With immense pride, she earned a degree in Criminal Justice from NWTC later in life, receiving high honors for her exceptional performance.
Laurie will be forever remembered by her three children, Angel, Chad, and Natalie Wilson, all of whom reside in Green Bay. Additionally, Laurie leaves behind a legacy of five adoring grandchildren: Dakota Wilson, Cheyenne Wilson, Angel Rodea, Ananya and Tegan Wilson. She will be missed dearly by her surviving sisters, Dawn Schley of Green Bay and Robin Windmiller from Bristol.
From a young age, she found herself grappling with substance abuse issues. Despite the hardships she faced, she remained determined to overcome her addiction. We will forever carry Laurie's memory in our hearts, remembering her as a loving woman and not by her struggles, she loved unconditionally.
In honor of Laurie's feisty spirit and the love she shared with her family, we invite friends and loved ones to join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, February 24th from 10:00 AM to Noon Visitation, Service at Noon at Newcomers 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301.
Laurie's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
