Laurel Beaty (nee Adamczyk) passed away early Saturday morning, November 25th, 2017.
Laurel was born the daughter of Genevieve and Henry Adamczyk on January 27th, 1952, in Milwakee, WI, where she grew up in the south side neighborhood of Bay View.
After graduating from Bay View High School in 1971, she began her long and successful career in the business world. Laurel's employers included Grede Foundries in Milwaukee, Nu-Line Industries in Suring, Foth & Van Dyke in Green Bay, and Potawatomi Casino and Hotel in Carter.
Laurel eventually moved to Wabeno, WI, where she married Steven Losse in 2013. She was a lover and collector of antiques and also a life-long animal advocate and member of Animal Resource Fund who devoted much free time and effort to rescuing dogs, cats, birds, and various other wayward critters.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Losse; one sister, Susan Venne; two brothers, James (Linda) Adamczyk, and Steven Adamczyk; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Laurel was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Genevieve Adamczyk, and by her first husband, Ronald "Doc" Beaty.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
