Kristine Renee Hart-De Groot, age 55, of Shawano, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at ThedaCare Hospital, Appleton, WI, with her family and friends by her side. She was born July 23, 1965 in Topeka, KS, daughter of the late Francis and Vicky (Grindberg) Hart.
Kristine lived for animals and adored her 3 cats and 2 dogs. She loved nature and tending to her beautiful gardens. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Kristine is survived by her partner of 21 years, Dennis De Groot; 3 daughters: Jacqueline "Jackie" Jensen, Samantha (James Schneider) Hart and their daughter, Victoria and Kaylee Stutzman; Dennis's 3 sons, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with whom she was extremely close; a sister, Kathleen (Buck) Tilton and her daughter, Bo and her fur-babies: Monty, Bubba, Winston, Beanie and Charlie.
A celebration of Kristine's life will be held at 607 S. Union St., Shawano, WI, Saturday, July 24, 2021 beginning at 2PM. Please bring your own chair and beverage. Food will be served. Call Dennis or Samantha if you'd like to bring food.
