Kenneth C. Schumann

Kenneth C. Schumann, 90 of De Pere, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was born on June 6, 1934, in Kaukauna, WI, to Leslie and Dorothy (Sanderfoot) Schumann. 

Kenneth graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1953. After graduation he served in the US Air Force from 1953-1957. He was then employed at the Thilmany Paper Mill in Kaukauna for 40 years. In July of 1965 he married the love of his life, Mary Alice. On May 20, 1983 he was proudly inducted into the Kaukauna High School Hall of Fame, an honor he treasured.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Schumann (Wendt), his parents, Leslie and Dorothy Schumann and brother, Robert Schumann. 

Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Sister Christine Beckett SCN, Louisville, KY, Victoria (Richard) Aneser Sandford, NC, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Greeneway, DePere, WI, sons, Robert (Molly) Schumann Green Bay, WI, and Kevin (Tammera) Schumann Reedsburg, WI; grandchildren, David and Michael Aneser, Garret and Jacob Greeneway, Cristopher, Cora, and Chelsea Schumann and great-grandchildren, Grant, Jack and Arthur Greeneway.

A private memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral home on Friday, November 22. The family would like to thank the staff at Caraton Commons and Moments Hospice for the special care they gave to Kenneth the last couple of months. The family asks that memorials can be directed to the Disabled American Vets.
