Kenneth "Ken" B. Posey, age 84, of Green Bay, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018.
He was born on November 26, 1933, in Green Bay, to the late Dwight and & Margaret Posey.
Ken attended Central Catholic High School. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in 1952, and proudly served his country for four years.
He married Jean Vanderheyden on December 26, 1953, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
Ken worked as a furniture salesman at Posey Furniture. He later worked for Schneider National for 16 years.
He loved hunting and fishing. He spent most of his time in nature and loved to garden. Ken was proud of his dog, Duchess. He enjoyed spending time at the coffee shop talking to all of those he met. Ken's favorite thing in life were his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Posey; four children, Theresa (Jeff) Judkins, Debra (Jason Heintz) Hess, Lynn (Chris Kowalkowski) Levy and Brad Posey; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-granchildren; siblings, Gary (Shirley) Posey, Pat (Joan) Posey, Clarita "Sue" Posey, Dennis (Sandy) Posey and Mike (Kathy) Posey; sisters-in-law, Norma Jane Posey and Mary (Tom) VandeHei.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Neil Posey.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Annunciation Catholic Parish, 401 Gray Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday with Rev. Don Everts and Rev. John Van Deuren concelebrating. Burial will be at The Cemetery of the Holy Sepulchre.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
