Kenneth Phillips

Kenneth "Ken" F. Phillips, age 67, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, November 25, 2015. He was born February 1, 1948 in Green Bay, son of the late Joseph and Mabel (Steffenes) Phillips.
Ken married Barbara Laes, May 13, 1977 and together they shared 41 loving years together and raised 4 children. He worked as a service writer for Cummins and for Tectron for many years. He was an avid woodworker and loved drinking his beer. He had a passion for working at the Flea Market selling antiques with Barbara. His greatest love was for his family. He had a big heart and will be dearly missed.
Ken is survived by his wife, Barbara; 3 children: Matt (Renee) Phillips, Angela (Joe Roberts) Helsdon and Trent Storzer; 2 granddaughters, Britney and Sydnie; 4 sisters and 2 brothers, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Phillips and 6 brothers.
Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 5 to 6:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are appreciated.
