Ken Schmidt, 75, passed away suddenly after a short illness on Sunday morning, March 28, at St. Vincent Hospital.
Ken was born April 19,1945 to the late Clifford and Helen Schmidt.
Ken served in the US Army Reserves.
He worked at Quality Crown and Bridge Studio for many years as a crown and bridge technician.
Ken played banjo and guitar, loved the outdoors, watching birds, and carving birds. He also enjoyed gardening and his raspberry patch for the grandkids.
Ken is survived by his wife, Cathy, children Kimberly and husband Robert Parson, Carrie and husband Zak Zeise. Grandchildren Michael Parson, Larissa and Landon Zeise. Sister-in-law Deb Gullickson and brother-in-law Al. Ken is further survived by his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Helen Schmidt, sister Betty Mae Krumpos, and brother-in-law Keith Krumpos, as well as his mother-in-law & father-in-law Irene and Chet Thorp.

Per Ken's wishes, there will not be a funeral. There will be a private celebration of his life.
