Katie Marie Polk

August 23, 1987 — October 28, 2019

Katie Marie Polk was born August 23,1987 in De Pere, WI to loving parents Geno and Debra Bosacki.

She attended school in the De Pere Public School district and graduated from East De Pere High School.

Katie went on to have a career in modeling and acting that had her experience living life in different areas of the country. She appeared in several movie cameos including Transformers 3.

Katie embraced everything about life, even the hard parts. She was selfless, always putting the happiness of others first. Immovable in her faith, she knew that God was always with her, and she drew strength from Him.

She was close with her parents Debra and Geno. She'd often say, "Mom is my everything", and when you saw them together they were always laughing and giggling, and sharing the secrets of their hearts. She had her Daddy's sense of humor and goofiness. Humor was a big part of their father-daughter bond, they loved to laugh together.

She loved her brothers and sisters, and they loved her back immensely. She always had love, compassion and a shoulder for them when they needed her.

She was so excited for each niece and nephew that came into the world, she loved being their Auntie Katie.

Katie was a dog momma to precious lil' Ciara. She was so happy the day she got her, and took her everywhere in her purse.

There are not enough words in the universe to express who Katie was, what she meant to us, and how she touched people's lives. We will hold her in our hearts always.

During Katie's first bout with her diagnosis God showed His hand and gave her the greatest thing she prayed for, the love of her life. Out of nowhere and nearly 20 years after first meeting, Nick and Katie began a new journey.

When she met her husband Nick she found in him the strong arms that would hold her for the rest of her life. He was her best friend, the man she'd waited for since she was a little girl. She never felt more loved than when she was with Nick. On August 19, 2017 Katie committed her life to the man she was awed by at 11 years old. They lived together in Dallas, TX before the need to return home for her health. Katie and Nick were the water to each other's lives. Although their time was brief it was a lifetime of love.

Katie loved love. She loved to love and to be loved. Her heart was genuine and pure. She wanted the world to know that God is love and living in His word and His love is who she was. She poured love into her husband, her family, friends and all those who loved her, near and far.

Katie leaves those to cherish in her legacy of love, a devoted husband, Nick, loving parents, Geno and Debra, brothers: Joel (Laura) and Jacob (Helen) Bosacki; sisters: Corissa Bosacki and Jeanna (John) Hilbelink; parents-in-law, Rick and Laura Polk, grandma, Delores Butler, sister-in-law, Amber (Kendrick) Kinlow, beautiful nieces: Cora, Cosette, Charlotte, Eleanor, Addie, Kamryn and Ayva; nephews: Miles, Silas, Ira, Sebastian, Oliver, Benjamin, Josiah, Ahmad, and Eyan. She shared a special relationship with her Aunt Cindy. She was blessed with the love from many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
