Kathy A. Kappell, age 63, of Oneida, passed away suddenly at her home, Friday, January 28, 2022. She was born June 18, 1958 to the late Frank Kappell and Delores A. "Tootie" Brandt.
Kathy had a passion for animals, especially her horses. She raised and showed Pinto horses since she was a young girl. One of her horses won a Canadian National Championship for which she was very proud.
Kathy is survived by her fiancée, Ron Koepsell; her daughter, Shannon (Matt) Chonos; 3 grandchildren: Eathan, Katherine and Travis Chonos; 3 sisters: Elaine (Mike) Schink, Kim (Donny) Grant and Debbie (Stephen) Riese and a brother, Matt (Cindy) Brandt. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Cathy Kappell, close friend, Liz, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Mark Kappell.
A Celebration of Kathy's life will be held at Rolling Thunder Lanes (934 Byrd Ave., Neenah, WI), Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
