Kathleen M. Possley, 92, of Green Bay, passed away, Monday, June 6, 2016 at McCormick Home. She was born, July 11, 1923 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Benjamin and Alice (Pierquet) Clark.
Kay married Alfred Possley and together they shared 55 years of marriage before he passed away in 2007. She was first and foremost a mother and caregiver. Kay enjoyed cooking, baking, going to her cabin, traveling and trips to the casino. Her home was a refuge for friends and family-they always left with a full belly of delicious food.
Kay was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish. She was a woman of strong faith. Time spent with her family was most dear to her.
Kathleen is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon (Pete) Quinn and Annette Dekker; 5 sons: Dennis (Beverly) Possley, Gary (Bonnie) Possley, Mark (Brenda) Possley, Robert (Kathleen) Possley and Richard (Nancy) Possley; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 10 AM to 12 NOON. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated following the visitation at the MCCORMICK HOME ASSISTED LIVING (212 Iroquois Ave., Green Bay) at 1 PM.
