Kathleen E. Edler, 69, of Pulaski, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer, on Monday, July 1, 2013. She was born October 5, 1943, in Milwaukee, to the late Elmer and Helen (Brandt) Stubner. Kathy married the love of her life, Gary Edler, on July 13, 1963, in Milwaukee. Their love and devotion to one another has been such an inspiration to their family and friends. Kathy's greatest joy in life was raising her children and spending time with her family.
Kathleen is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary Edler; 4 children, James (Christine) Edler, Watertown; Brian Edler, Fond du Lac; Kimberly (Kelly) Maloney, Pulaski; and Christine (Greg) Stubbe, Fond du Lac; 8 grandchildren: Jamie (A.J.) Gonzalez, Shelly (Ryan) Narbatovics, Katie (Phil) Renderman, Brady and Brandon Edler, Christopher, Caitlin, and Michael Maloney; 2 great-granddaughters, Piper Gonzalez and Vada Narbatovics; and sister, Carolyn Schultz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Stubner; and brother-in-law, Jack Schultz.
The family will be having a celebration of life later in the summer.
