Kathleen Mary Basten

Kathleen Mary Basten, age 64, of New Franken, passed away on August 28, 2024 surrounded by her family. 

She was born on December 20, 1959 to Richard and Darlene Sievers in Green Bay, Wisconsin. 

Kathy worked as a waitress at Village Green Golf Course, and the Sportsman Supper Club for many years. While caring, supporting and raising her children and grandchildren. She had a deep love for her grandkids, and the many happy years she got with them.

Kathy had a love for the outdoors, and enjoyed every opportunity she had to visit our places in Lakewood, Wabeno, and Bass Lake, WI. She and her family spent many nights around the fire, enjoying good food, good country music, and lots of laughs. She will be greatly missed.

Kathy is survived by her loving partner, Marvin Basten, her two daughters; Heather and Lisa Basten, her six grandchildren; Cyrus, Fayte, Mason, Morgan, Quinten, and last but not least Patience. She is further survived by two brothers; Richard (Sandy) Sievers, and Michael (Wanda) Sievers, and two sisters; Brenda (Harry) Anderson and Michelle Cuevas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Harley Sievers, and her brother-in-law; James Cuevas.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
