Katheryn V. Aho

Katheryn V. Aho, age 88, of Seymour, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at ThedaCare Hospital, Appleton, WI. She was born February 11, 1936, daughter of the late Jacob and Katie (Schmidt) Sigl.

Kathy was united in marriage to Edwin C. Aho. They enjoyed many beautiful years together before Edwin preceded her in death August 8th, 1990.

 She graduated from Seymour High School, and built a successful career in sales. She worked for many businesses in the Appleton area, including Capri Carpeting where she supervised the call room. When she moved to Michigan, she continued her affinity for sales at Superior Audio Visual. She was very determined and driven.

Kathy was a strong minded lady who was not afraid to tell it as is. She enjoyed trips to the casino, crocheting, crafts, dining out and thrifting. Going for motorcycle rides was one of her greatest joys and she loved attending Sturgis. 

Katheryn is survived by her children, Vicki Aho and Eddi (Lisa) Aho; 5 grandchildren: Lauren Aho, Edwin Aho, Brandon Aho, Colton (Caitlyn) Fontecchio, Gabrielle (Ryan) Laha, and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a special friend, Donald.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant daughter and a sister, Loretta (Louie) Grych.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 12 NOON to 1 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM.
