Karen A. Schwartz, age 61, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 16, 2017.
She was born on September 14, 1955 to the late Richard Brice & Patricia Fabry.
Karen was a graduate of East High School.
Karen worked at Services Plus and has been currently working for Pioneer Metal Finishing for the past 18 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Karen was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Karen was the rock of her family and was proud of her two children and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Thomas Schwartz; two children, Jesse (Jenna) Schwartz and Heather Schwartz; grandchildren, Jordan and CJ; mother, Ruth Brice; four sisters, Kathy Tauschek, Judy (Jim) Boyer, Judy (Kurt) Kuchta, Janet (Michael) Elliot; five brothers, Jim (Lynn) Brice, Myron (Judy) Mertens, Gerald "Sam" (Doris) Brice, Richie (Valerie) Brice and Robert Brice; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim (Joanne) Schwartz, Gary (Madeline) Schwartz, Mary Hayden (Bernie) VandenAvond, Leonard (Patty) Schwartz, Katie (Pete) Senn, Rick Schwartz; and Godchildren, Deana Mertens and Dawn Jaeger.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Harold Tauschek; in-laws, Leonard & Mercedes Schwartz.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Karen's name.
