Karen L. "Kay" (Bryson) Lemerond, age 66, of Green Bay, formerly of Harlem, GA, passed away at her home, Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was born August 21, 1958 in Lyons, GA, daughter of the late William and Cleo (Griffin) Bryson.
Karen attended Harlem High School, Harlem, GA. Karen married Jim Lemerond in the early 1990's and they were married for over 20 years. She relocated to Green Bay in 1997.
Karen was an active resident at Mason Manor. She loved to attend their activities, including BINGO and also just hanging out with the many residents with whom she became close friends. She had a spunky personality and loved to chat and socialize. Karen loved road trips in the Challenger and eating at all of her favorite Green Bay area restaurants with her daughter-in-law. They drove all over searching for her beloved Big Red Soda while they laughed and visited. Her family was her greatest joy and she was a proud mother.
Karen is survived by her sons, Jayson (Katie) Campbell and Theo Onsgard; 7 grandchildren: Geneva, Ciara, Wyatt, Taylor, Morgan, Austin and Caylin and a sister, Judy (Butch) Whiddon. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters: Doris Polk, Faye (Jimmy) Bradley and Willie Mae (Herman) Burke; a brother, Gene (Sherry) Bryson and her precious canine companion, Chi Chi.
A celebration of Karen's life will be held at a later date.
