Karen Francois, age 57, of Green Bay, entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2017.
Karen was born on December 24, 1959, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold & Marlene (Verheyden) Leidel.
She was a team member at Goodwill for 30 years. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting blankets for family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her husband, Michael; step-children, Michael (Emily) Francois, Jr., and Elizabeth Francois; grandchildren, Scarlett Guzzonato and Abigail Francois; brothers, Curt (Ann) Leidel, John (Sharon) Leidel, Jim (Sharon) Leidel, William (special friend, Ellen) Leidel; sister, Amy Hollett; nieces and nephews; and her husband Michael's immediate family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Leidel and mother, Marlene Leidel; sister-in-law, Kathy Leidel; mother-in-law, Donna Francois.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Karen's name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Davita Dialysis for all of their care the past years and West Allis Aurora Hospital and Ballard Nursing Facility in Des Plaines, IL.
