June C. (Petersen) Larsen, 90, Denmark, passed away on April 26, 2012. She was born March 22, 1922, in Denmark, WI to the late Esven and Edith (Mauck) Petersen.
Survivors include her 3 children, Diane Hartwig, Leon and John Larsen; 7 grandchildren, Michelle (Mark) Lampereur, Rhonda Van Blaricom, Paula (Mike) Petraitis, Rob (Paula) and Jeff (Daisy) Larsen, Katie (Chad) Kane, and Tony (fiance, Sarah) Larsen; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandson; 2 sisters-in-law, Shirley Petersen and Nancy Larsen; one brother-in-law, Harris Schleis; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray D. Larsen; brother, Maynard and Leon Petersen; sister, Marion Reif; a son-in-law, Curt Hartwig; and one great-granddaughter, Amanda Lampereur.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 435 Wisconsin Ave. Denmark, from 11:00am until 1:00 pm. A service will follow at 1:00 pm., with Pastor Andrew D. Zoerb officiating. Burial will be at West Danish Cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to all of the staff at the Jack & Ingrid Meng Residence.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
