Julie Ellen Harris

Julie Ellen Harris, 70, of Crivitz, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

She was born October 13, 1952, in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of Louis Elmer and Vera Mae (Torstenson) Reynolds. She graduated from Von Steuben Metropolitan High School in 1970.

Julie was employed by the Greater Green Bay YMCA as an administrative assistant for over 20 years.

Julie married Wayne Harris on May 11, 1985 in Whittier, CA. They spent their married years in Green Bay before retiring to Crivitz. Wayne survives, along with her daughter Amy Harris (Matthew Kartheiser), son Russell Harris, step-daughter Teanne Bridgewater (Eric), and step-son Mark Harris; grandchildren Sierra Bridgewater, Wyatt Harris, Bethanny Capoccia and Rhiannon Norgaard; and her Little Sister Tiffany. She was reunited with her parents; her three brothers John, Richard and Bill Borgardt.

Julie enjoyed reading, swimming, card games, trivia, bingo, her cats and spending time with her family and friends.

Julie was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22nd at Newcomer Green Bay Chapel, 340 S Monroe Avenue in Green Bay. There will be a reception following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, 1660 E Shore Drive, Green Bay, WI 54302.
