Julie K. Erbrecht

August 1, 1960 — March 7, 2017

Julie K. Erbrecht, age 56, of Allouez, WI passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital on March 7, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and in the arms of our merciful and loving God. The daughter of Robert and Barbara (Welles) Bridenhagen was born on August 1, 1960 in Arlington Heights, IL. She was a 1978 graduate of East High School. Julie was employed by the Green Bay Area Public schools for many years, known as the kind and friendly face at the reception desk at the district office until her illness required her to retire.

Julie was a kind hearted soul who always put others before herself. She treated everyone equally with kindness and respect. Julie was passionate about animals and especially enjoyed spending time with her mom. Julie's last act of compassion was her gift of organ donation. Her warm heart, infectious laugh and sense of humor will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Julie raised her daughter, Amy, who was her whole world. In addition to Amy (fiancé, Sean Fuss), survivors include her mother, Barbara Bridenhagen of Allouez; one brother and sister-in-law, David (Mercedia) Bridenhagen of Shell Lake, WI along with their children: Michael, Natalie (Travis) Poupore and Ethan; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Beth (Kyle) Gigot, Ashwaubenon, and their children, Scott Gigot and Robin (Charles) Bedard; Lynn (Don) Coon of Saginaw, MI along with their children, Jason (Jeni Anne) and Jennifer (Casey) Stoney, Laurie (Paul) Dockry of Sioux Falls, SD and their sons: John (Rachel), Thomas and Robert (fiancée Jessica) and Carol (Mark) Shimek, Allouez, and their sons, Tony and Alex. She is further survived by her uncle, Paul (Jeanne) Welles; Godmother, Mary Margaret Thomas and Amy's dad, Steve Erbrecht.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; infant brother, Robert Jr.; maternal grandparents, Albert and Ann Welles; paternal grandparents Lester and Irene Bridenhagen and Godfather, Tom Lom.

Per Julie's wishes, the family will greet relatives and friends at ST. BERNARD PARISH (2040 Hillside Dr., Green Bay), Friday, March 10, 2017 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM with Fr. Mark VanderSteeg officiating.

Because of Julie's love for all animals she asked that in lieu of flowers memorials be directed to a local humane society.

The family extends a special thank you to all of the caregivers of Unity Hospice for all of their kind and attentive care of Julie to allow her to remain at home in the last few months and continue to oversee her needs while hospitalized and the amazing 7th floor staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their wonderful and compassionate care for Julie and the family the last few days.
