Julia Ann Wery, 80, of Green Bay, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023.
She was born on April 26, 1943, in Wausau, Wisconsin, the daughter of Leo and Regina (Wanta) Okonek. She graduated from Newman High School in 1962.
Julia was employed as a claims adjuster by Humana.
Julia married James A. Wery on December 17, 1982 in Portage, Wisconsin. He survives, along with her children Robert E. Oestreich (Gerald Doberstein), Christopher Curtis Oestreich (Rob Garrity), and Craig Alan Oestreich (Valerie), grandson Austin Oestreich and her sister Louise O'Dell. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Julia enjoyed flower gardening, decorating for the holidays, knitting and crocheting, cooking, family gatherings and entertaining - having the boys around, reading and her dogs Sam and Max. She especially enjoyed living in Amberg.
Julia was cremated. There will be a celebration of life in the future.
