Joyce M. Novak, 80, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on October 26, 1941.
Joyce has lived in Green Bay for 55 years, initially with her sister while working in the insurance industry and later purchased a home in the early 90s. She had a love for animals, especially cats. She also loved gardening, shopping with her sisters, and taking annual trips to Door County. She was a humble person who contributed to multiple charities over the years. She was a very family oriented person and loved to play cards with her family on Sunday afternoons. She will be dearly missed by her family and all that knew her.
Joyce is survived by her siblings: Charlotte (William) Guile, Jean Simon, Allan (Sandi) Novak, and Carol Tetzlaff; and her nieces and nephews: Lisa, Kim, Joann, Dan, Shannon, and Tim.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Bertha Novak; brother-in-law, Dan Simon; and her nephews: Jeffrey and Michael Guile.
A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM.
Joyce's family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital as well as Joyce's neighbor, Christine, for the great care and compassion they have provided.
