Joyce F. Beaudoin, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home due to complications of atrial fibrillation, Saturday, March 20, 2021 with her family at her side. She was born March 9, 1944 in Kewaunee, WI, daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Meyer) Kadletz and was a graduate of Kewaunee High School, Class of 1962. Joyce was a school bus driver for Lamers Bus Lines, retiring after 22 years of devoted service.
Joyce had a love of God and family. She loved holiday traditions and celebrations and all of the menu items that came along with them. Her pride to be a mom and grandma was evident, but the explosion of joy she felt when she became a great grandma to Ellis and Grizzlee was beautiful to witness. To know Joyce really was to love Joyce. This was obvious in the way she earned nicknames like Mama Joyce, Granny Joyce, and even Granny's Gone Wild! Her smile and laughter will surely be missed.
Joyce was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and loved the Green Bay Packers, Badgers, and all local high school athletics. She never missed a chance to attend a sporting event and even won "Best Swim Fan" from the East-Preble Marlins in 2005. We believe she kept her newspaper subscription just so she was always in the know of scores, wins, and best times of local talent.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Julie Beaudoin (Greg Mielke) and Brenda Beaudoin (Bryan Geurts); granddaughter, Ashley (Eric) Sevcik; 2 great-grandchildren, Ellis and Grizzlee Sevcik and siblings, Allen (Jane) Kadletz and Germaine (the late Luke) Linzmeier.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Delores (Dan) Chervenka.
The family would like to express their deepest thanks and appreciation for the loving care given to Joyce by her nurses, Lise and Shana, and the rest of the care team of AseraCare Hospice.
Visitation will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Parish (312 Victoria St., Green Bay), Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM.
