Joseph William Weier

Joseph William Weier, age 88, of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was born October 20, 1933 in Wabeno, WI, son of the late William and Norene (Dagan) Weier and was a graduate of Florence High School, Class of 1951.
After graduation, Joe attended Marquette University for one year before enlisting in the US Marine Corps. Joe proudly served his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1961. He married Janet Waldon in 1958 and shared 63 loving years of marriage with her. Joe retired from General Motors in 1988. He later worked part-time for Northland Laboratories. He attended First United Methodist Church in Green Bay since 1990. He loved God, his family and his country.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Janet; his 4 children: Cindy Waldon, Joseph (Heather) Weier, Daniel (Diana) Weier and Beth Weier and 7 grandchildren. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Donald and William Weier.
Private services were held by Joseph's family. He was laid to rest in Oconto Evergreen Cemetery.
