Joe will always be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. Nobody could tell a joke like Joe. He was known as "Horse" by his brother Chad, with whom he had a very close and special relationship. Joe always pulled rank on Chad, "I'm the big brother." He once told his niece Kasey, "just call me the Prez." He enjoyed golfing, fishing, shooting pool, and he loved to laugh. John and Joe "cleaned house" at the pool table in South Dakota, then ran for their lives. Joe was also a very special and big part of helping care for Mom with progressing dementia, referring to himself as "Bealer the Dealer." His sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him.
A private service will be held by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do as Joe always had, practice random acts of kindness and show kindness to all, including those less fortunate than yourself.
