Joseph Marzolf

Joseph C. Marzolf, age 75, of De Pere, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was born October 4, 1941 in Green Bay, son of the late William "Cliff" and Elizabeth (Brennan) Marzolf.
Joseph enlisted in the US Navy in February of 1964 and served his country until his honorable discharge in February of 1966. He married Dorothy "Dottie" Polley, May 20, 1967 in De Pere and together they shared 50 loving years together as husband and wife before she passed away in July of 2017. Joe worked as a painter and estimator both for his own business as well as other contractors.
Joe and Dottie enjoyed traveling together, especially to Mexico. They shared time living between both Green Bay and Port Charlotte, FL. He was an avid Packers fan. Joe was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay. First and foremost, he was a loving husband and proud father, grandpa and great-grandpa.
Survivors include his children: Margaret "Maggie" (Kurt) Alef, Kathleen "Katie" (Mike) Stockman and Steven Marzolf; five grandchildren: Cassandra (Mohamed), Joseph, Nicholas, Max and Sonja; two great-grandchildren and sister, Suzette (Jim) Kerrigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dottie and his sister, Elinore Coppens.
Visitation will be held at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST PARISH (413 St. John St., Green Bay), Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr.
