Joseph J. Borlee

Joseph J. Borlee, age 80, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015. He was born in Walhain, WI on October 25, 1934, a son of the late Fred and Mary (Vandervest) Borlee.
He attended local schools, and was married to Mary Lee Rose (Langford). Joseph went on to serve in the US Navy as well as the US Air Force, and was proud of his military service. In earlier years, Joe made his home in Chicago, IL where he worked as a diesel mechanic. Following the passing of his wife several years ago, Joe moved back to the Green Bay area. He was hardworking and will be remembered as being a quiet man.
Joe is survived by his sons: Joseph (former wife Izabela) Borlee of Chicago and James (Patti Ann) Borlee of Bridgeview, IL; his grandchildren Matthew, Sarah, Cole, Anastasia and Paulina; and his siblings: Donna (Murray) Hostetter of Boyceville, WI, Gina (Ron) Antonie of Brookfield, WI, Bob (Mary) Borlee of Green Bay, WI and Bernie (Joan) Borlee also of Green Bay, WI. He is further survived by a cousin, Gary Borlee of Green Bay, as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, a daughter Cathy Borlee as well as his siblings: Freddie, Ceil, Barb, Dick, Sr. Valeria and an infant brother Joe.
A memorial gathering will be celebrated at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home.
