Joni L. Andrews, 63, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2024.
She was born on December 5, 1960 to Walter and Joan (Hendzel) Horstketter in Manitowoc, WI. She met the love of her life, David Andrews, and on September 19, 1987 she married him. Joni and David settled in Green Bay where they raised their children. She worked in many factories, the Casino and the Packer Pro shop before spending her time being a stay at home wife and being a grandma to her three grandchildren. She had a passion for helping her grandchildren develop basic skills. You would often find her planning or taking trips all over the country with family and friends. Among those many trips, they would frequently spend time with family up north at "the Land." Overall, she enjoyed spending time with her family but Christmas time was her favorite.
She was a big animal lover, especially for her dog, Bella and two cats, Lizzy and Abby. Her love of music always sent her to concerts and musicals. She was well known for constantly humming a song. She was the life of the party and very outgoing. She enjoyed making funny noises and faces to get people to laugh. Joni was a shopaholic, she always was able to find a bargain. One of her favorite past times was watching the Green Bay Packers - win or lose she loved her Pack. She enjoyed many thrills, especially motorcycle rides and roller coasters. On her calmer days, she would either go play Bingo, go to the Casino or simply laze on her couch with her tablet. Joni had a huge heart and often times you would find her going above and beyond for others.
Joni is survived by her loving husband, David; son, Corry (Joey Garsow) Andrews; daughter, Britney (Caleb Brito) Meneau; three grandchildren: Carla, Dereck and Everly; siblings: Jeff (Therese) Horstketter, Jane (Greg) Lambrecht, Judy Horstketter, Joseph (Mary Popp) Horstketter and John Horstketter; her in-laws: John Andrews, Christine Lessmiller, Linda (William) Jetton, Fern Laes, Mary Koslowski, Joseph Andrews, Brenda (Steve) Schuch, Roger (Jackie) Andrews and Pam (Jeff) Wiese; lifelong friends, Janet, Denny and Cheryl; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle and further relatives.
