John C. Zimmermann

John C. Zimmermann, 68, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born to the late Olive and Richard Zimmermann on October 27, 1952 in Keshena, WI.
John loved to go trout fishing. He was also a self taught musician, playing many instruments including the drums, guitar, piano and harmonica. He loved to read in his spare time especially nonfiction novels. John was a strong spiritual leader. He also had a great sense of humor that will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his ex-wife, Jean Mohr; sons: Jon Zimmermann and Andrew Zimmermann; a grandson, Derek Zimmermann and a great granddaughter, Mila Mae Zimmermann; two sisters: Garnett Gajewski and Lynn Placko.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Leonard Zimmermann, Marcus Zimmermann, Anthony Zimmermann and Mary Jane Zimmermann.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 and Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm at Newcomer Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, WI). Military honors will be rendered on Wednesday at 4 pm. To leave an online condolence please click the share button below.
