John Wayne Seyler, age 88 passed away after a short illness on July 09, 2022, at Grandcare Nursing Home. John is survived by his wife Helen and one sister, Mary Ellen Kummers, and many wonderful nieces and nephews, John was blessed to have in his life. John was a wonderful husband and a wonderful uncle and friend to so many people he knew. He was a member of the US Army and was a hard worker in all the jobs he held well past his retirement.
The things that gave John the most joy in his life was his wife Helen who he loved with all his heart. They spent 63 years together doing all the things they loved like camping with family, watching sports, enjoying family and friends.
John loved playing games like cribbage and solitaire and going to Cropsey's to visit all his friends. He also liked golf and fishing and watching sports. He recently loved playing bingo at Grandcare Nursing Home daily where he aimed to win but always simply had a good time with his bingo crew. He will be sadly missed by so many for his kindness, his loving smile and wit and especially for his daily striving to be independent and living life to the fullest.
John's wishes were to have no services and Inurnment will take place at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. The family would like to thank Grandcare Nursing Home for their excellent care and Compassus Hospice care for their end-of-life care to John and all the people who have supported or cared about John through his life.
