John Peltier

October 8, 1941 — July 3, 2019

John Phillip Peltier, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 8, 1941 in Buzwah, Wiikwemkoong; the son of the late Charlie and Cecilia (Trudeau) Peltier.

John married Lynn Cornelius on December 7, 1974 in Sheboygan, WI and resided in Green Bay with their children, Michael and Paul Peltier.

He is survived by a son, Paul; daughter, Rosie (Jeff) Rackow, of Sheboygan; sisters:
Katherine, Lucy, and Martha; a brother-in-law, Hyson Cornelius, daughter-in-law, Virginia Peltier and grandchildren: Cullin, Brandon and Daniel Peltier, Holly, Matthew Rackow, Shewenda and Talon Peltier and Tyler, Levander and Trevor Pamanet. He is further survived by 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind special friends Edna, Andrew and Bobbie; and godchildren: Carolyn, Sherman, and Jamie.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Doxtator, sisters: Josephine, Violet, Mary, and brother, Raymond.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay),
Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM. Healing prayers and sharing of memories will follow at 8 PM.
