John "Jack" Meyer, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was born in Green Bay, on July 31, 1944, the son of the late Adam and Elaine Meyer. Jack proudly served our country in the Army from 1963 until 1969. He married Elizabeth Simac on July 24, 1987. Jack loved bowling, fishing and hunting, watching baseball, the Packers, and NASCAR. Jack and Elizabeth enjoyed the outdoors and their cabin in St. Germain. He worked at Georgia-Pacific for over 30 years.
Jack is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, son, Jody, her children: Debbie Simac, Patti (Santos) Mejia, Rhonda (Aaron) Simac, and Rick (Mary) Simac; six grandchildren: Jason (Rhonda Sue), Brandon (Mattie), Danielle (Michael), Conner, Luke, and Emmy; three great-grandchildren: Charlie, Everly, and Bennet; he is further survived by other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will take place at a future date.
