John M. McGee

John M. McGee was born on December 6, 1953, in Antigo, Wisconsin. He passed away on January 18, 2025, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay.

John had a varied career that included bookkeeping for an insurance company, the dairy industry, and reupholstering furniture in his free time.

Known for his kind and caring personality, John had a great sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. Throughout his life, he overcame numerous challenges, including polio, which left him paralyzed. He fought with that to live a long and fulfilling life. 

In his free time, John enjoyed spending time with his dog Buddy, further reflecting his love for life.

He is survived by his brothers Jerry (Laurie), Jim (Bonnie), Bob (Ceil), and a sister Rita (Herb) Seaver, sister-in-law Lena McGee, nieces and nephews, and good neighbor Jim, who is taking his beloved dog Buddy. John is preceded in death by a brother Jan and his parents, Raymond and Celia McGee.

John leaves behind fond memories and a legacy of kindness that will be cherished by his family and friends.

No services will be held at this time but gravesite services will be held in the spring.
