John E. Noack, age 82, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Maple Ridge Rehab and Care Center. He was born October 11, 1933 in Green Bay, son of the late Norman and Mary Ann (Engels) Noack and graduated from Green Bay West High School. After graduation, John enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving his country for three years.
John married Carol Dufek, February 15, 1958 and together they shared 58 loving years of marriage and raised 4 children. He was previously employed at Nicolet Paper and most recently Dental City.
John was a family man. His goal in life as he got older was to take care of his beloved Carol and his kids. John lived for his grandchildren. He purchased his first van 15 years ago so he could pick them up from school.
John is survived by and will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol (Dufek) Noack; his children: Mary Kay Noack, Mark (Jodi) Noack, Chris (Julie) Noack and Jim Noack; 5 grandchildren: Ashley, Austin, Brittnee, Ben and Kaiser Noack; sisters, Norma (George) Wrobel and Gerry (Bob) Johnson; brother, Paul (Penny) Noack; brothers-in-law, Tony (Linda) Dufek and Pat (Sharon) Dufek and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia (Wayne) Pansier and Mary Jo (Al) Withbroe; brothers, Bill Noack and Don (Mary Lou) Noack; mother and father-in-law, Henry and Marie Dufek and nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may call at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC PARISH (413 St. John St., Green Bay, WI), Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 1 to 4 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 4 PM with Fr. Joseph Dorner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish or to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Denmark, WI in John's name are appreciated.
The family wishes to thank Dr. James Williams, Heartland Hospice and the staff at Maple Ridge Rehab and Care Center for all of their care given to John and the family during his stay.
